Lymington Cricket Club has operated teams at Junior level from the inception of the NFJCA.
We have a growing Junior and youth section that has produced a regular stream of young cricketers who have gone on to play at club level and in Representative levels..
Our players include both boys and girls as young as 6 and 7 years old playing cricket in competitive leagues. This dovetails with our All Stars programme that has been running since 2017.
We operate Junior squads for Boys and Girls at the Age groupings set by the New Forest Junior Cricket Association.
Our objectives are clear – we want to foster a happy, safe and fun learning environment and love for the game. Lymington Cricket Club has a proven track record in developing cricketers of the highest standard. We aim to maximise the potential of every child.
All Junior Cricket is delivered with a consistent practice of Safeguarding that is constructed by the ECB.
The club runs a comprehensive Coaching & training programme which includes indoor sessions in the winter from January to April.
From April training takes place at the Lymington Sports Ground and we continue formal outdoor sessions until the end of the school summer term although this often extends into the summer break.
